Do NOT Fall Prey!

Looks are deceiving. We were captivated by the looks in the showroom.

Where looks end, the nightmare of quality begins. We had an issue with just about every item we ordered. Quality and quality control are non-existent. In my opinion, the strategy of RH is style over substance and price gouging the customer.

All I can do is warn others. Do not fall prey!

They hired a company called FGO to deliver a sofa. They damaged the interior walls of the apartment.

RH has now directed me to FGO for repair who is entirely unresponsive.

You cannot trust RH!

Unhappy customer

The website of boreass.com was fictitious and didn't exist. I bought the item from Facebook.

I talked to Restoration Hardware customer service this afternoon and was told I was not the first person to be scammed by them. They have received many other calls from people and advised me to report to my bank.

Hello! Im not pissed, just checking in to see what is happening.

I called a week or more ago about the state of my bean bag chairs, which have had continual problems with the zippers coming undone at the seams. The lovely customer service partner stated that RH would replace two of the five I own, plus send me a new insert for one. I have been waiting for word on when someone will come by, but have not heard anything more. Please help.

I have bought mostly my whole new house with them. I am in the process of buying more pieces.

Their customer service is excellent and knowledgeable. The quality of their furniture is top notch. I had an issue due to my fault of a wood that didnt blend the way I would like and they are allowing me to exchange it at no fee and order the 4 pieces in the correct color. They want me to keep my original pieces and will exchange them when the new ones are delivered.

Thats amazing!!! The opposite of Arhaus who charged me around $700 to return counter stools that some fit and some didnt. Terrible company! Restoration Hardware has a customer for life.

I will complete my house with them. What a pleasure!!!

Working with Jeanie Wilson has brought my faith back to customer service. She is a pleasure!!

Sofa slipcover issue

Terrible business practices

RH is a disgusting business based on GREED. They are terrible to their walk the line of legality in regards to how their delivery employees.

They work 15 hour days 6 a week for one daily flat pay! They give them likely illegal weights to carry for MOST of their deliveries and place them in impossible situations. They expect them to completely injure themselves by sending them to do jobs they know are not physically possible, because the delivering employee would be charged if they refused to do a delivery for ANY reason. Add to that the AUDACITY, they have to charge the delivering employee for any damages to the products even if it was RHs fault they were placed in a situation that didnt follow their guidelines.

Is it not DISGUSTING to hold your terribly low paid employees to pay for furniture you know they could never afford themselves? Customers are so often disappointed because of the way they run their business but the blame gets placed on the low class employees delivering and RH lets it happen.

With the amount of money this company makes, they conduct themselves like a bunch of incompetent clowns. Their products are insanely priced and with that, should be delivered with a white gloves service.

I have been buying RH for 10+years and I can think of one or two transaction that were not a circus. The most recent will be the last, and Im sad about that.

I decided to get a sofa and 2 chairs then realized I needed 2 more chairs. The first order the agent suggested I get an RH credit card so I did. I added the new credit card to the order (which have unusually low limits considering the price of their furniture) and my bank card. On this order RH fully charged my bank card multiple times in error, before putting the correct charge on the cc.

This was just one error with that order. Fast forward 2 months I decided to pay off the RH balanced. Then I ordered 2 more chairs, normal stuff for a credit card company. But not RH, theres a waiting period of an unknown time because I sent them a large amount of money (it wasnt) to use the card again despite $0 balance.

Now I got a letter from their credit card co. they want a copy of my bank statements and social security card, among other stuff.

Lol. Sure thing Ill get right on it.

Bait and Switch - BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered entire ROOMS of furniture this summer. My entertainment center was ordered in April of 2021.

My order CONTINUES to be pushed back over and over again. I'm now told my entertainment center will arrive at the end of Jan. 2022!!!! I ordered more furniture in EARLY July with LATE October delivery dates and today I learned it "might" arrive the week before Christmas!

This is completely unacceptable! If I'd known I'd spend Thanksgiving without furniture, I would have purchased furniture from a different company. And I don't believe for ONE MINUTE they will delivery my furniture on Dec. 20th!

Who wants to deal with furniture delivery the week of Christmas??? I would have NEVER PURCHASED all these items with that kind of delivery date! They continue to "piece-meal" me items that were part of a design scheme so starting over somewhere else would be difficult because the pieces I do have match. In addition...I continue to pay shipping fees to accommodate THEIR back log.

If RH had any integrity...they would STOP taking on new business when they can't handle the orders/customers they have. I have spent $75,000 with this company! If you are sitting in an empty home....DO NOT RELY ON RESTORATION HARDWARE! They will take your money, especially if it's a custom designed item....when you promise to pay...but will then delay your orders up to 9 months (at least in my experience)!

My sofa was the place my guests were supposed to sleep for Thanksgiving. Now I have to cancel my holiday and hope to secure a location for my guests or locate used furniture to supplement. I get these are "first world" problems but their disclaimer about delays needs to say in ALL CAPS!!!! DELAYS COULD BE UP TO 12 MONTHS and then at least their Buyers could make informed decisions!

I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about these "bait and switch" issues. They think their covering themselves with this "vague disclosure" at the top of their website saying "their could be delays." BE HONEST RH. Delays? Like a year?

Should be DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. So disappointed. I love their stuff!

But they only seem to care about their bottom line. You will order "some things" and then be STUCK with WAITING because half your room is complete with other custom designed items.
